Non-IRTC related Rotating cons-box (symbol of CS-program at UU). This animation of the image on the left was used for my first page at CS back in 1996. It didn't work out that way, but I think that it's pretty an This one is nice. I first made this as an animation picture but it became to complicated to bend the links in a natural way. Don't the ball look like it is falling into the center hole?... I love chrome. Nice materials but nothing complicated in the models. The ball bearing is designed so that I can change some constants (e.g. number of balls, diameters) and rerender it without worrying about calculating any coordinates. :) This picture has looked very differently under devolepment. First of I made a temple, then some complex water texture and last the worm. The worm consists of 100 blobs, placed with some bent 100 blobs, placed with some bent cos/sin curves. I wanted to do a SOR (surface of revolution, or rotation body) object too, and here it is, an orange glass on a floor. Half ready stuff with a bike. Triple-crossed spoked wheel with cassette and hub.
